Meet the “bon”trepreneur

Hi, I’m Michael — the hands (and heart) behind Khacao.

I’ve loved chocolate since I was a kid, but as I got older, I started to care more about what was in it. After reading In Defense of Food, I began seeking out real ingredients and ethical sourcing — and slowly, my sweet tooth turned into a craft.

I started learning to temper chocolate, experimenting with flavor, and eventually making bon bons that felt like small, intentional offerings. I still hand-make every piece myself, with a focus on balance, beauty, and connection.

Khacao is where my love of flavor, craft, and care come together — and I’m honored to share it with you.
